About
Listen to radios, not algorithms.
FDSP is a way to hear what independent radios are playing right now, anywhere in the world, track by track. Nobody picks songs for you from your past clicks: real people on real stations do.
How it works
Home zaps. When a track ends we jump to another live station. Tap Next to skip.
Stations is for staying put. Pick one and listen to it live, with no zapping.
The only gesture is the heart: it saves a track to your Library. We link to search pages on the platforms, we never connect to them.
One rule
No identified track, no playback. A station only plays here if we can tell which artist and title is on air at that moment. If it only shows a show name, a slogan or nothing, it leaves the zapping.
If you like what you hear
Go to their shows. Buy the record or the tape. Tell a friend. Streams pay artists very little.
Your data
Your hearts, tastes and listening stats stay on this device. There is no account yet, no ads and no analytics. If a station plays an ad, we drop it.
Where things come from
Audio streams directly from each station, relayed by our server. Track titles come from the stations' own metadata or public endpoints (Radio France, RadioKing). A few stations without titles are identified by audio recognition: experimental, so expect mistakes. Covers come from the stations, iTunes search, MusicBrainz and the Cover Art Archive.
Thanks
To every independent station that keeps a stream open and tells us what is playing. This is all yours.
Under the hood
Built with Claude, which wrote most of the code (we don't want to end up like Thelyson 😅). Underneath: Node.js, TypeScript, Hono, esbuild and Vitest for the code; Railway for hosting; IBM Plex Mono and VT323 for the type (open fonts); Radio Browser to find stations; MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive and iTunes search for covers; ShazamIO for the experimental audio recognition; Radio France and RadioKing for their live track data.

Sound quality
These are radio streams, so the quality is what each station sends: not good enough for a Devialet. If you were thinking of buying one to listen to FDSP, we advise against it. 😂
Stations
Pick a station and listen to it live. It stays on air: no zapping when a track ends.
